Priv.-Doz. Dr. rer. nat. Ruediger Sorg is Head of the Immunotherapeutics Working Group at University Hospital Duesseldorf and a senior academic expert in translational tumor immunotherapy. With extensive experience in immunological research, he plays a key role in advancing innovative immune-based treatment strategies within a leading university medical center.

Dr. Sorg specializes in dendritic cell (DC)–based immunotherapy, using targeted immune activation to support cancer treatment. His work focuses on developing and translating cellular immunotherapies that enhance tumor-specific immune responses with a strong emphasis on safety and precision

As a Privatdozent, Dr. Sorg is closely involved in both research and teaching and works across disciplines to bring new immunotherapy concepts from the laboratory into clinical practice.
